Music was always in the house. Growing up as the youngest daughter of Belgian baritone Gilbert Dubuc, Leonie didn't need to go looking for a passion; it was already there, filling every room. She found her way to it through musical theatre, and then in 2013, through a microphone.
Her training took her from Hamburg's Stage School, where she earned a diploma in musical performance, to Shenandoah University in Virginia. Her early career was built on stage, touring with Germany's Cocomico Ensemble in productions of Bibi Blocksberg and SimsalaGrimm. The move into voice-over came through Studio Hamburg Synchron, and it stuck.
Since then, she's become one of Germany's most recognizable dubbing voices. Her screen credits span blockbusters to cult favorites: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman), Peacemaker (Emilia Harcourt), From (Kristi), A Big Beautiful Journey (GPS), Interior Chinatown (Det. Lana Lee), Dan Da Dan (Aira Shiratori), Star Trek: Section 31 (Rachel Garret), and The Neon Demon (Gig), among many others.
She works in German and English, bringing the same precision and natural ease to every project, regardless of genre or format. Based in Berlin, she collaborates closely with the city's leading studios and remains open to projects from around the world.
