Before the microphone, there was the stage.
Leonie trained at Hamburg’s Stage School, then continued at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, studying musical theatre in the American tradition.
Back in Germany, she toured with the Cocomico ensemble, playing family musicals across the country. Two years of eight shows a week teaches you how to carry a character in front of a full house.
